What started as a 40-bed hospital in 1987, Aswini has now grown into a 300-bed Multi-Super Speciality General Hospital in the very heart of the Thrissur municipal corporation, having 40 odd consultants and all the major investigation facilities. Started as the "First Trauma Care Centre" in the private sector (North of Eranakulam). Aswini still retains the pre-eminence of a First Class Trauma care centre.
